Assuming your local machine IP.
Start, Run..., cmd /k
(or other method to get to a CMD command prompt)
ipconfig /all
(also see ipconfig /?)

If you want the public IP of a NAT router, you need other
tools/methods.

.

From the command prompt type ipconfig
it will give you a list of switches to use with it.

There is also the Wntipcfg.exe: Windows NT IPConfig Utility
which is prettty much like using winipcfg in Windows 98,
you can download it from here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/win2000platform/wnti
pcfg/1.00.0.1/nt5/en-us/WntIpcfg_setup.exe

You can get some basic info about it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/
existing/wntipcfg-o.asp

Hope that helps! :)
