Lots of sites out there will do this. A few of them will actually agree with
each other regarding what your IP is...
If you have a router log onto it and you should find some info somewhere
about your internal and public addresses. This should be more reliable.

This will work if you are directly connected. If you connect through a
router it will show your internal IP adress. This is probably not what you
are needing to know.
Also be aware if you use dial up your IP address will be different every
time you connect. This may even be the case with cable or DSL, although it
won't change nearly as often. If you need a "static IP" most hispeed ISP
will give you one for an additional cost.
If you want to know your address so you can play online games, and you
connect through a router, you now need to go learn something about port
forwarding.
