IP address logging

Hello,

Is there any way to log public IP addresses in the
security log rather than netbios names?

We all wish this were possible. Afaik you'll have to upgrade to Windows
Server 2003 for that exact functionality ...

Or, use a firewall. www.kerio.com, www.sygate.com and www.zonealarm.com are
free. If you want, you could spit out your firewall logs and your Windows
event logs to a free syslog client like www.kiwisyslog.com using something
like NTSYSLOG.
