iomega zip drive

I have zip-100 disks that were recorded with WIN-ME and
protected. I now have WIN-XP. I have the drive working
but cannot un-protect these disks. Is there a way to do

Try the latest XP drivers from Iomega.com.

The default XP drivers for many devices do not provide the same functions as
those available under 98/ME.

However, many hardware manufactures have developed their own XP-compatible
drivers. Go to the IOMEGA support site and download the latest version of
their Iomegaware and install it. Also look fo some instructions, as
sometimes you need to install without the device connected, and sometimes
with it connected (external devices only).
