IO SYS error 226

When I try to shut down normally, I get the following blue
screen:
"IO system verification error in SSRTLN.SYS WDM driver
error 226"
"(SSRTLN+SYS+2503 at FC7BE582)"
Then it hangs up and won't do anything till I hit the
switch. Upon rebooting, it goes thru a scandisk
proceedure and says all files are OK. So now what have I
done?
 
Use Event Viewer to get the error ID for your blue screen:

- click Start
- right-click My Computer, go to Manage
- expand Event Viewer, and select System Log

In any case, for these sorts of driver issues, you usually need to contact
the hardware manufacturer for more information.
