P4 3Gig / 1Gig RAM / Nvidia FX5600 / XP SP2 (all updates installed)

Guys

Just turned on my PC and after the P4 logo it went to a BLUE SCREEN with the
following message written at the top...

IO SYSTEM VERIFICATION ERROR IN gfvknt.sys (WDM DRIVER Error 22e)
(gfvknt.sys+19d6 at BAE0B9D6)

I tried to reboot several times and I still got his message with blue screen
and it wouldn't move on.

I tried safe mode and it would boot up ok.

I then decided to choose XP's 'Use last known configuration that worked' and
I am back, but now scared to turn off my PC again.

Can anyone give me some idea what happened and will it happen when it switch
off again and if so is there anything I can do?

Thanks for any help

Graham

Thanks for the reply David.

I have done a search and it is a company called GoFlight, I use flight sim
and it is something to do with that. Will back up and remove and see what
happens

Thanks again

It's a device driver, not something that normally comes with games or
applications (except virus checkers etc). It is uninstalled if you choose
Last Known Good (it's just an entry in the registry saying load - choosing
last known good removed the entry telling windows to load). Your game may be
able to load the driver when it starts.

It may be another driver causing it. Does your game work now. If so just
ignore. If not post back.
