Invisible pop-ups??

Jim

When I am in IE, seemingly randomly, the screen
will "flash" and there will be a click similar to when a
pop-up opens. In this case, no screen opens up, but my
keyboard and mouse behave strangely. Sometimes the
keyboard will go in to a "shift lock" mode where it will
type in all caps and shift character for number and
punctuation. When this happens the "Caps Lock" light on
the keyboard is not lit. Other times the wheel on the
mouse will not scroll the page, but instead enacts the
page forward and back function. Also, if typing, I will
lose my cursor and when I click in the text to resume, it
only does a select all hightlight.

This is very frustrating. I hope someone can help me with
this.

Thanks,
Jim

Look for MEMORY WATCHER in your Add/Remove programs.
It sound very similar to that. Uninstall it if you see
it. :)

Thanks for the reply.

I've virus scanned with Norton and McAffee and scanned for
spyware with Spybot and Adaware. The anti-virus scans
didn't detect anything. The spyware scans didn't solve the
problem.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks.
