Invalid page fault

I have Windows 98 and every time I try to open Internet
Explorer I get an Iexplore illegal operation thing and it
will not open. Under details, it says IEXPLORE caused an
invalid page fault in module FLT.DLL. If anyone could tell
me how to fix it I would appreciate it GREATLY! Oh, if it
helps any I also get an Explorer caused an invalid page
fault in module FLT.DLL when I try to open up any folder.

I highly recommend using HijackThis
(http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) to identify and
assist in the removal of these bad guys. **Post your files to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

I'm not totally sure what I'm suppose to do, but I think
