Internett Gateway

Hi, i have a problem with my internet sharing.
I hava a main computer with win xp home, and a laptop with
win xp home..
I have an internet sharing ( ISDN )on the main computer.
In network and dial up connections on the laptop i shouls
have an gateway to internett..
But i have to connect to internett on the main computer
first to get the gateway icon to appear. then it works
untill i turn off tha laptop and on again..
The gateway icon disapears, and i have to connect on the
main computer again...

Anybody who knows what the problem is????

An ISDN connection is, basically, a high speed dial-up
connection. If you are using connection sharing to your
laptop, the main computer must have an established
internet connection to pass along the IP information to
the laptop. Even if you have an always on connection
(wireless,DSL,cable,T1... etc)the main computer must be
on to provide that link.

But why does the gateway come up on the laptop after maybe 10-15 min,
whitout connecting to internet with the main computer, why cant it work at
once....????
