Hi All,

I am trying to sharing internet connection on two machine,
WinXP and Win2K. WinXP is the gateway and has the
internet sharing enabled on its modem properties. Someone
told me that i also have to set the Win2K network adaptor
to "Receive IP address auto" in order to get the internet
connection. However, i am not able to find this setting
on my network adaptor on the Win2k machine. How can I find
the "Receive IP address auto" from the
network adaptor? From the TCP/IP properties?or Local Area
Connection Properties?

Thanks

Open "Network and Dial-Up Connections" in the control panel, then
right-click your local area network connection and select Properties. In
the list of network components, select the TCP/IP component and then
Properties. This is where you can set the IP address defaults.
