The last few weeks, one of my computers returns a "page loading..." and/or a "page cannot be accessed" message after about 10 minutes on the internet. My only "solution" is to reboot but I only get about ten minutes before it stalls again.

the rest of the computer functions fine.

The internet connection is fine. My other computer which is connected by ethernet to the same modem and router has no problems.

The problem computer's OS is Windows XP Home Edition SP3.

My other computer is Windows XP Pro Media Center Edition SP3.

Any ideas what might be going on?

Many thanks.

My Sister had a similar 'problem' with her system ... I was convinced it was BTs std modem, got a replacement, wired it up using existing cables, there was no difference in the cables, only to find, oh well, we got a spare modem.

Tried replacing the cables, just in case there was a difference, but noticed there was no 'flickering' light on the the Ethernet port. This was easily remedied with a PCI Ethernet card. Cheap as chips, worth a shot.

It could be another 'problem' so other advice is more than welcome. :)
