Internet Explorer

When I launch Internet Explorer it says at the top of the
page that it is provided by Tiscali, who were the ISP i
previously used. I have now had Broadband installed by
another ISP, but this message still appears at the top of
the page. Apparently there is some conflict, because my
Internet Explorer keeps crashing!! I have been informed
that I need to re-install Internet Explorer and this will
remedy the problem. I have tried this, but get a message
saying that because I have the latest Internet Explorer
currently installed I can not proceed.
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of Tiscali, or how to
uninstall Internet Explorer.
Your help would be appreciated.

Mark,
I think you have a couple of issues:

To remove branding from IE:
Start> Run> type in or copy and paste:

Rundll32 Iedkcs32.dll, BrandCleanInstallStubs

Click OK.
Restart Internet Explorer

Next... remove parasites and other malware:
