Hi. Trying to sort out a problem for a friend. He has Tiscali Broadband
through USB modem. Skype is installed and running. Internet connection
is fine. However, as soon as this camera is installed he gets no
internet connection at all. 'Unable to establish a connection'!! I have
tried several different installations ie. camera before Skype, camera
after Skype, Tiscali re-install after Skype and camera but to no avail.
I have left him with his Internet connection working fine and Skype
installed. However, for him to use Skype, he needs to have this camera
installed! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

That suggests to me that one of the devices is overpowering the USB
controllers.. In the Device Manager see if there's too much current
drawn by one of the devices. I believe 500ma is the maximum allowed. A
powered USB hub for one of the devices might help.
