internet explorer 8

I got a message to install explorer 8 and installed program. I am not able
to get on the internet at all. Can someone please tell me what to do to
either delete explorer 8 or to get on the internet

Try Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. You'll have to tick the
Show Update box to see it.

If that doesn't/won't work, go to c:/windows/ and find the IE8 folder.
In it is an spuninst folder and in that is the removal tool to remove
IE8.

After IE8 is removed, you'll be back to whatever you had installed prior
to it.
FYI IE8 is a bit of a PITA and slows things down anyway; it seems best
to ignore it for now until they do a couple of hotfixes for it.

IE 8 working OK here, on Vista and XP.

No problems whatsoever with IE8.
