Internet explorer

Hi Guys
I just installed Windows XP Media Center 2005.
All went well ,everything was working great.
Did the updates over the internet,all went well,got all the updates
installed.
I shut down my pc for a while, came back and auto update installed a couple
more updates,all went well.
Later last night i tried to get on the net,but internet explorer won't get
on the net,the page loads but it just keeps thinking and won't go to any
home page i set.
I tried MSN and Google. What could my problem be?
How can i reinstall internet explorer without reinstalling the whole windows
,or doing a repair install.

Uninstall the last "couple more updates" and then try.

Hi Guys
That didn't help at all Malke.
I tried a repair install and that didn't help,so i wiped it all out and
reinstalled windows,so far so good with all updates.
Almost afraid to let windows do anymore updates.
