After upgrading to Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1, I
receive numerouse pop-up advertisements. Can this be
stopped..? When I fall back to the previous level, I
don't get the pop-ups...
 
One solution:

Install Google's Toolbar. It has a Popup Blocker that
comes with it. I use and it works very well. You can get
it from Google's site.
