internet explorer won't recognize my e-mail address/why

I don't know why,when I try to send an e-mail from microft word.it won't go
through and says it dosen't recognize my e-mail address([email protected])
any sugestions?

You'll need to be a bit more specific then this.
How does Word and Internet Explorer play any role in this?
You're sending emails via Outlook.
