Internet Explorer won't connect to the internet

Hi there

I've made serious mistake with by fiddling with the NT permissions on the
Windows XP drive. As a result I can still make a connection to the
internet, however Internet Explorer keeps reporting that it cannot find a
server.

In terms of the permissions I made a change everthing to that only
administartors and SYSTEM had full control and applied it to every file and
folder under windows. Stupid I know!

Can anybody help?

Have you tried "System Restore"? I'm not certain if this will solve your
particular problem, but it's worth a try. Willie
