Internet Explorer shutdowns

After I have reached a website and start using data, I
get message stating "Internet Explorer has encountered a
Probem and Needs to Close." Im using Widows XP and have
the latest version of IE. There is a lot of complicated
data if one looks at their "explanation."
Thank you for any assistance.
 
Does this happen with all websites, or only some?
If some, which?

Can you share with us the complicated data in the "explanation"?
