Internet Explorer Problem

I'm currently using Windows XP Media Center Edition
Actually I just bought a new desktop 2 months ago with the MC Edition
About several weeks ago, when I open Internet Explorer,
I realized that the title for the webpage has disappeared, only the first
letter of the web page is shown

For example: if you go to yahoo.com, the top right hand corner (in blue)
will show
"Yahoo.com" something like that. However, now it only shows "Y", and that's.

I've tried to do system restore, it work well the first time. However, after
several days, the problem occurs again. Then I do the system restore again.
The first time I open the explorer it's working fine.
However, after I close the explorer and reopen again, the problem reoccurs.
No matter how many times I restore the system, the problem won't go.

Please help me~~~~~

Title Bar Truncation
Title bar may contain garbage characters
Title bar truncated to 1 character.

Do you have the Google Desktop bar installed?
If so, try uninstalling/reinstalling it.
It has been reported to sometimes produce truncation of the title bar
text.
