Internet Explorer or AOL 9.0 problems

Ever since I installed AOL 9.0 on my computer it has been
nothing but headaches. Pages will not load anymore. I
have had to uninstall and reinstall aol 4 times now.
Each time I do, the problem clears up and then an error
occurs and the problem starts up again. AOL has been
basically useless. They told me the problem is my
internet exporer is corrupted and needs to be replaced.
I tried installing the 6.1 pack but I get an error
message saying that a newer version has already been
installed. How can I just reinstall Internet Explorer?
My Stupid computer didn't come with any disks they are
somewhere on my puter and I am afraid to mess around with
it too much.

I have been experiencing problems with IE 6.0. I could not
open files on my computer with IE. AOL tech support told
me it was corrupt files. I could not do Windows Updates
and I had tried various troubleshooting tips on website.
I could not even bring up certain websites with IE. I did
restore and uninstalled all AOL software and found AOL 7.0
CD and have installed it. So far I am not experiencing any
problems. I finished doing Windows Updates with no
problems. I am not sure it is AOL 9.0 but I am very
suspicious and am going to stay on AOL 7.0 for a few weeks.
