Explorer want open w/ AOL 9.0

I have AOL 9.0 and explorer 6.0. I have redownloaded both
explorer and AOL. I have also downloaded all service packs
for Windows 2000 professional and Explorer 6.0.


But when I try to open explorer - i get message that IE6
has encountered a problem and needs to close.

The error message says "the instruction at 0x02575262
referenced memory at 0x0000001c. the memory could not be
read.


What's up - how do I get explorer working again

start,control panal,internet
connections,internet,advanced,uncheck'enable third party
browser extensions',apply. and then see if it opens.
