IE 6.0 Will Not Work with AOL 9.0...Help!

This has been driving me crazy for 2 months (since 9.0 installed). IE
works perfectly with AOL 8.0 on the same machine, but will not display
ANY web pages under 9.0.

WITHIN AOL, I can access all web pages, but when IE icon is clicked
on, all I get is "Page cannot be displayed" message.

I'm using Win XP Pro with all current upgrades. Am using Norton
firewall and antivirus products. Have reinstalled 9.0 three times,
downloaded IE upgrades and installed them, have cleared browser cache.
Nothing helps.

AOL Tech Support cannot help, they suspect there is something within
IE that is corrupt, but I can't see any way to completely uninstall
and reinstall IE.

Can anyone assist?

Temporarily disable the Norton products and see if it makes any difference.

Temporarily disable the Norton products and see if it makes any difference.

Disabling Norton Firewall and Antivirus had no effect. Still cannot
get IE to connect.

Never mind. Fixed the problem. Needed to select IE as the default
browser instead of AOL.
