Internet Explorer not starting properly

When I click on my Internet Explorer on the first occasion and select a web
page it will not connect. I have to either refresh the screen or exit the
program and go back in again ? I have no viruses or Spyware causing any
problems. Enough Memory etc. The communications seems to be okay, connecting
to broadband services for email no problems. Should I just reinstall
Internet explorer or is something wrong in setup??

I have seen this behaviour on Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 with Internet
Explorer 5 and 6. The solution in the end was to update Internet
Explorer to it's latest version appliccable for that particular
operating system. Your mileage may vary, but i'd try updating first if
you haven't already.
