Internet explorer not displaying web sites

Often when I visit a site on the web, Internet explorer will not display the
page. It says that either I'm not connected (which I am) or the page cannot
be displayed for some unknown reason.
This has happened too many times to count. Nothing I do, or don't do, seems
to fix it. I'm using Windows XP Home SP 2 and IE ver 7.0.5346.5, 128 bit,
Beta 2. Has anyone else experienced and solved this problem?

IE7 issues should be posted to the internet explorer newsgroup.
