Internet Explorer Not Connecting after upgrade from XP Home to Pro

Got Error message 711. Went through steps and now getting
error messages 1068 and 5 when trying to get Remote
Accesss Connection Manager and Remote Access Auto
Connection Manager to Manuel. Also have been getting
Run-Time Error '6'Overflow before and after upgrade.

What kind of Internet connection are you using?
Dial-Up or DSL (PPPoE)?

You apparently upgraded from XP Home with Service Pack 1
to XP Pro without Service Pack 1

That means you also wiped out all XP critical updates including
the one that patches the vulnerability that MSBLASTER worm
and its variants exploit and so you MUST enable the XP
Internet Connection Firewall or have a functioning third-party
firewall enabled before connecting to the Internet again and then
get Service Pack 1 and all critical updates installed again.
