Matt

For some reason when I go to start IE6 it will load the
page and then display an error, something about
winshow.dll and close down. I have XP Home and this only
happens in my login and not my wifes. Very strange. All I
can think of is that maybe I loaded an extension to IE6
that only apply to my login. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

I just searched for that dll on W2K and it isn't present.
My guess is that you have been hyjacked. Run the usual of
Ad-aware and SpyBot in safe mode and see if it has been
rectified. If not, then change the name of the file and
see if it has any adverse affect on your system. Use
Search to find the file, click the right mouse button on
it and rename the file to winshow.old Restart the computer.
I had a similar type of problem but with a different dll
which the MS technician did not think was part of the OS.
