Internet Explorer Crashes

Steve Collins

Internet Explorer crashes regularly. I am getting the message: Internet
Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.
All open pages then shut down. I have adjusted security settings, gone
through
the troubleshooting pages, but can't seem to fix this frustrating problem.
Does anyone know of an alternate solution?

Try to find out why it is happening so regularly. You may look at the
Event viewer[control panel|Administrative tools|Event Viewer] to get any
clue from there. You may also try Dr.Watson tool.
If a program error occurs, Dr. Watson for Windows starts automatically.
To configure Dr. Watson, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type drwtsn32, and then click OK.
By default, the log file created by Dr. Watson is named Drwtsn32.log and
is saved in the following location:
drive:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINNT\Application
Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson

Scan your system with latest virus definitioned antivirus as well as
with latest versions of spybot, search and destroy,CWShredder, adaware.Run
all of them in safe mode.
