"internet explorer cannot open

I am running Windows XP. When i try to access certain
websites I get the error message "Internet Explorer
cannot open internet site www.whatever.com. Operation
aborted." This is new, previously I had no problem.
The only software or hardware change was the installation
of a Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard using
bluetooth technology and I do not see that as the
problem. Any suggestions? Thanks Jerry
