Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http..

Can't open some websites (randomly) and getting the
error "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site
http...Operation Aborted", then the page shuts down with
the "The page cannot be displayed" message

Any suggestion before losing my mind here..?!
