internet explorer and AOL

I can get to my AOL page and can send and receive email,
but am unable to view any websites. I get a Page Cannot
Be Displayed. Is my IE configured wrong? Can Anyone give
me instructions on how to fix this? I don't even have
a "Tools" option on my AOL tool bar.
Help!
