IE & AOL incompatibility

I need to access my company's web site to make changes & access email, from
my home computer. I am unable to do so using AOL. We thought I would be
able to use IE, but with AOL on the computer it seems to block whatever IE
normally would do. Does anyone know of a way to "disable" AOL so I can use
IE?

Start>Set Program Access and Defaults. Set IE as your default browser.
