hi
i am facing problems in printing with IE6 with HP printer
(4mv) the page width does not print completely some
charcters are cutted from the edge.

Hello,

In addition to mac's suggestion about the margins,

- web pages are designed to display properly, not
(always) to fit on a printed page
- some of them have tables and/or images with a fixed
width

If tweaking the margins doesn't help, you could try to
copy all of the webpage (Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C) and paste it into
Word in order to print from there.
