Internet Explorer 6 crashing

when i conect to the Internet it works fine for a minute
or so and then i get an error about lsass.exe i then
click send error report to microsoft and when that is
done a box pops up saying
"NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM has ordered the computer to shutdown
because c:/windows/system32/lsass.exe has terminated
inexpectantly with status code 1073741819"
a countdown timer starts and 1 minute later the computer
shutsdown. can you help?
