about lsass.exe

Hello everybody!

When my XPE system connected to internet by adsl,
i received this message:
the system process 'C:\windows/system32\lsass.exe'
terminated unexpectedly with status code -1073741819 the
system will now shutdown and restart.

then it gives me 40 secs till it shutsdown.

Please help me! Thanks a lot!

Is it on RTM or SP1 runtime?
Sounds like a Sasser virus: http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_125007.htm

But this is just a guess.

See if you got this registry settings in your run time: [HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run], "avserve.exe" =
"\WINDOWS\avserve.exe".

In any case, make sure to apply this QFE:
