Internet Explore 6.0 Confusion

I have a system which was upgraded from Windows 2000 to Windows XP. Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 works fine when logged in as administrator. When logged in as a regular user Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 does not work. Gives me this message page: This page cannot be displayed. Try different websites like www.msn.com, www.microsoft.com, www.amdzone.com, and www.usatoday.com homepages

I can access them with IE 6.0 SP1 under administrator but not under regular users, all the settings have been set to default settings. Already reinstalled the browser and no change. Then tried the IEFix from http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/ and IE still does not work under regular user

The only way I have figured around the issue for the regular user is to open up my computer which shows the user'ss drives then type in the address which works fine unless it pop open a new window then the user get the message about the page cannot be displayed.

Did you check the upgrade paths for Win2k. If you went from 2kpro to xp
pro your fine.
