Windows Explorer 7.0

I have just replaced Windows Explorer 6.0 with version 7.0 and am having
difficulty with version 7 making a broadband internet connection after
turning on my computer. An error message keeps coming up saying a connection
can't be made, but other indicators show a connection is in effect. After
some time, Explorer 7.0 connects and works fine. Any thoughts? Can I replace
version 7 with the old version 6. If so, where do I retrieve a download of
version 6.0?

I assume that you mean Internet Explorer 7 rather than Windows Explorer 7.
