explorer 7.0 question

Just downloaded the latest version, 7.0. With 6.0, when I used to go
to my ftp site; ftp.lesvants.com , a window would open asking for my
password and username. After supplying them another window would open
showing the folders.
Now I get this:

FTP root at ftp.lesvants.com To view this FTP site in Windows
Explorer, click Page, and then click Open FTP Site in Windows
Explorer.

Is this step really necessary? Can I set 7.0 up to go directly to open
ftp site in Windows Explorer?

Thanks, Airpix

As far as I can tell, no, you can't.
Thanks, Airpix

FTP in IE7 does not work at all the same way as it did in IE6. In many
respects, it's frequently completely unusable.

I would suggest that you use an actual FTP client instead, such as
FileZilla. Or, use FireFox if you must use a browser.

Hi,
Open Computer/My Computer. Right-click in the window. Choose Add a Network
Location. Work through the wizard. You should be able to use the
ftp://username:p[email protected] format.

Hope this helps,
Don

I don't have the selection "Add a network location" when I right
click. I get "view, arrange icons by", etc
