internet connection sharing

i would like to know if it's possible to enable internet
connect sharing between a computer running windows xp and
another computer running windows 98. if it is, which OS
should be the server and how do i go about configuring
internet connection sharing?

If at all possible, make XP the server. Its version of Internet
Connection Sharing is easier to set up and more reliable than in other
versions of Windows.

To make XP the server and 98 the client, just run XP's Network Setup
Wizard on both computers, as shown here:

If you have the original version of Windows 98, it can't be the
server. If you have Windows 98 Second Edition, you can configure it
as the server and configure XP as the client, as shown here:
