Internet Connection Sharing and Wireless Network

I am trying to set up ICS on my wireless network. I used ICS before going wireless, but lost the capablity when I set up the wireless router. I am using a D-Link 624G router and card. Desktop (which I want to share the connection on) is running Win2K Pro and my laptop is running XP Pro. I think the lack of being able to establish ICS is due to DHCP on the wireless router, but if I disable it, I loose my network connection.
Thanks for any input.

Yes, it is probably due to ICS needing to be the dhcp server. Can you assign
your wireless devices static IP addresses and disable DHCP on the Dlink?
