ICS xp host+ vista client via wireless router as accesspoint

HI--I have a PC with XP pro connected via Ethernet cable to Netgear 834G . A
Laptop is connected to the router via wireless. No problems so far as I have
usable network betwen computers and can share files etc.

The Xp machine has a dial up connection that I want to share with the
laptop via ICS.
I changed the IP address of the router as it uses 192.168.0.1 which is what
ICS uses. I also disabled DHCP in the router.

I ran the network connection wizzard in XP and set up ICS . My latop appears
to have been allocated an IP address by the XP machine and I have got an
established network for the computers .

I manually establish the dialup connection on the XP machine but when I go
to use the internet via the laptop there is no apparent connection.
How do I get the client Vista laptop to get the internet connection??
Have I overlooked something in the router setup

All is now working.
I noticed that the Wirless adaptor had not been allocated an IP address or
DSN address. Whilst "meesing about" I turned off the firewall in the Host PC
Lan adaptor then rebooted everything and all worked !!!.

I have now get a bit more knowledges of the "black art" of networking in
Vista and routers.
Thanks again for your input

Peter
