I have XP on each computer with dial up internet on host computer. Wireless
shows that all computers are connected. Cannot connect to internet from any
client computer. Have run ICS with no help.

Also, host and client computers do not appear in network places.

You're a little sparse with information. Win XP certainly supports a
configuration where one computer has a dial-up Internet connection and
that connection is shared wirelessly to other clients.

How is your wireless network set up? Do you have a router or are you
trying to use ad hoc wireless connections?

If you are using a wireless router, it must be configured to act as an
access point:

1. change the router's LAN-facing IP address to 192.168.0.2 with a
subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 Note that you may lose connectivity with
your router's configuration utility when you change its IP address.
Just enter the new IP address in your browser and log in again.

2. turn off the router's DHCP server.

3. connect an Ethernet cable between the network card in the computer
with the dialup connection to one of the LAN jacks on the router; do NOT
connect anything to the router's WAN (Internet) jack.

Whether you use a router or an ad hoc wireless network, be sure that all
wireless security (encryption, MAC filtering, etc.) is turned OFF until
you have things working. Then re-secure the wireless network.

Also, make sure that all firewalls, including antivirus apps with
firewall-like features (e.g., Internet Worm Protection) are configured
to allow network traffic. As with wireless security, you may want to
disable or uninstall all firewalls until you have things working, and
then re-enable/re-install as appropriate.
