Intermittently Pictures Won't Download in Outlook 2003

Hello,

Intermittently, and infrequently, an image will not download when I
read my mail in Outlook 2003. I tried the fix of tools --> security --
download pictures --> change automatic download settings. The box
for "Don't download pictures automatically..." is not checked.

In almost all cases Outlook DOES display pictures. But the pictures
don't display when we get messages from a couple select companies.
One is BankofAmerica.com.

By not displaying, I mean that it displays a blank box that just shows
a red X in a little box.

The images DO display on other computers around the office. So there
is apparently some weirdness associated with this computer. It's
running Windows XP Pro SP 2 or 3.

Thanks for your help.

Just for fun-zeez, what happens if you try to forward one of these
incompletely-pictured messages? Do the images show-up in the forwarded copy?

What happens it you add these senders to your Safe Senders list? Do the
pictures display then?
