Interesting Norton Scan Question

Art...Do not quite follow this. Where and how did you do this (ie, set the
Firefox "Open with" to "do this automatically every time").

When you click on a PDF a dialog box appears. Set it to Open with
Foxit and check the box below to do it every time.
Also why would
you prefer Foxit to Adobe (Adobe has searches, and other things I don't even
know about)...Pete

Mainly because I like to try things out ... especially freeware that
doesn't install and affect the registry .... that consists of a single
program file ... that 's not bloated and just does what I want and
what I expect and nothing more. Too many apps nowdays have
features "you don't even know about" ... which likely means you need
or want them like you need a hole in the head :) Besides that, there's
far less files to scan ... remember that?

Sorry Art...I still don't follow. Do you have to have foxit installed first
(and change the PDF association to foxit) in order to get the dialog box you
are talking about. I assume so...Pete

I agree, but think I will keep adobe for now. Thanks for your inputs...Pete
