Intel processor compatibilty

I'm looking at buying a used processor for a P4C800-E I have. I want a
Northwood, 3.0 or 3.2. I found several 3.0s but they have minor spec number
differences. One is a SL6WU and one is a SL6WK. I've used a SL6WU on this
board before. Both have D1 stepping. The K designates a FC-PGA2 - 478 pin
package type. As far as I can google, FC-PGA2 is for a mobile processor.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these two chips, if any?
Will the SL6WK work on the mainboard without a BIOS upgrade or other
aggravation?
TIA

Yeah, I've got a hard copy of all of that. But it doesn't answer the
questions. I need to know what a FC-PGA2 pin type package is and if it
will plug into the socket on my mainboard and if it requires a BIOS
upgrade. Thanks anyway.

Hey, found my own answer. I think. ALL the later 478 pin packages are the
same, all are FC-PGA2. The K designates an integrated heat sink layer, also
redundant, and the Intel webpage is not current. The 2 packages are
identical.
