Instant Search: Subfolders NOT Allfolders

A

Allen C.

I've installed Office 2007. Outlook plasters "Instant Search" everywhere. I
don't mind using it if it can be made to do what I want. When I search a
folder for messages I need the option to search the selected folder only or
the selected folder and subfolders. How do I do this? The only option I can
find is the selected folder or all folders which makes absolutely no sense to
me.

If this isn't possible then is there a way to put Advanced Find (or just
find) on the message pane in place of the 'Instant Search' bar?

Sincerely,
Allen

No, but you can of course press CTRL+SHIFT+F or place Advanced Find on the
toolbar.
