Enable Instant Search

I do not want to enable instant search but the question bar at the top of my
Outlook 2007 window remains. Is there a way to disable that bar so it stops
asking me if I want to enable instant search?
I did enable it at one time and it completely messed up several different
search options in Outlook. My entire computer had to be rebuilt.
Thanks,
Lisa

Which options are you referring to?
Uninstalling Windows Desktop Search would suffice to undo what installing it
changed. If not, then there were likely already issues on your machine to
begin with. Needing to rebuild the machine just for Windows Desktop Search
was likely to be a poor decision by the technician trying to solve your
issues.
