Searching subfolders

N

notaprogrammer

Hello,
My email archive in Outlook 2007 is large and contains many folders and
subfolders. I would like to search a subset of these folders for messages
that are older than 2 years. I seem to be able to get the "advanced find"
feature to search either one folder or all folders (archived folders as well
as the current in-box) but not something in between. Is it possible to
search selected subfolders?
Thank you.

The advanced find dialog box has the checkmark for "search subfolders"

Tools -> Instant Search -> Advanced Find
Browse -> Select Folders -> [X] Search subfolders

If you don't wish to search certain subfolders, move them temporarily
out of the hierarchy you wish to search.
