How do search subfolders in Outlook 2007?

I have big mail archives with a subfolder based on year, quarter, month. I
used to be able to select a folder and focus a search just within that folder
and it's subfolders.
In the 2007 beta, I can search everything, or just one folder. Nothing in
between.

Hoping I missed a search option somewhere. Thanks for the help

Create a search folder for whatever folders with subfolders you want to
search.
It shouldn't be a big problem though to just search all your mail.
Search in 2007 is much faster than in 2003.

Cool. But I ran into a subtlety: search folders don't work if "search all
folders" is active in the search options. You can view the contents of the
carefully constructed search folder, but when you enter search text the
search folder is ignored and Outlook begins its massive search.

Once I turned off "search all folders" everything worked fine. You select
the search folder, and it is further filtered by any search text that is
entered.

I suggest that when you create a search folder, you should get a warning
that "search all folders" is active.

Thanks for the help
