INSTALLSHIELD CORRUPT

I have a problem where the installshield in xp has been
corrupted and i cannot use the xp operating software to
reinstall my windows xp. Can I disconnect the hard drive
and reconnect it so that I reinstall the xp operating
system. please email me if someone has the answer at
(e-mail address removed).

Go to www.bootdrive.com and download the XP boot system
(Requires 6 floppies). When done put the XP CD in the
drive, insert floppy 1 (boot)[[If not done, set bios to
boot from floppy.]], shut down and reboot Machine, follow
prompts for floppies, and after the last floppy (Number
6), the CD will start the windows installation .
